Preparations are in full swing for our upcoming holiday to Rhodos - Greece. Two whole weeks! A dream come true, and one that we (and I, Petra, especially) have been looking forward to since we booked last year.
Wim is very interested in astronomy (no, NOT astrology!) and when I found this place, I just knew we had to book there.
We're staying in one of the appartments in the building at the bottom right of the picture and will be given a free tour of the observatory, whenever the timing is right.

Only one more night! There won't be much sleeping on Sunday night, as we'll be leaving Jerusalem for the airport around midnight and are scheduled to arrive on Rhodos around 10 a.m. Monday morning. (Stopover in Athens). Thankfully, Stergos, the owner, wrote that we can come earlier than 1 p.m. I think we'll be in need of a siesta around that time!
